Groupon vouchers could be the perfect gift

So I know it was just Christmas and the time of year when everyone is out searching for the perfect gift. And I realise that this blog post might seem redundant but you can’t forget that over the rest of the year you’ll have to buy gifts for friends as well. If you’re like me you’ll have to get your family and friends many other gifts over the course of the year. I’m talking about gifts for birthdays, graduation, house warming, for people helping out with things and many other activities. For me, I just seem to like giving gifts and showing my friends and family that I really lover, care and appreciate that they are in my life.

Now everyone knows the quote that comes along with gift giving. "It's always better to give than receive." I couldn't agree more with this quote. I get such a great satisfaction when I can give the people I care about something that I know they will use and will really appreciate. At times however I find it tough to find THAT perfect gift that I think they will use. But I’ve found that the more I buy people gifts it is getting easier for me to get the perfect gift. My Niece just had her birthday and I managed to get her something that she can’t take out of her hands. I got her the latest toys from Disney and she cannot stop playing with them.

I think I might change my gift giving approach a bit because of what one of my good friends told me. My friend Nancy told me about Groupon and I'd never heard of it before so I explored the suggestion. It turns out that Groupon offers deals and savings of up to 70% on selected products, services and attractions within a specific city. I quickly figured out that all you have to do is to sign up (for free) and you get deals in your city, or nearby emailed to you daily. And you don’t even have to use them for yourself you can buy them and give them as gifts. A lot of my family live on the other side of the country, so what I think I will do is look for deals in their area and just purchase them Groupon voucher deals which they can use anytime they want. Hopefully it saves me time and I know it will save me money!

Scratch cards are also offered as gifts. If you are lucky you may scratch it to find a discount or take home a bounty. It is true that people do not go to buy to try their luck out. But when they have to buy something out of necessity they will think of visiting the shop. They would love to take a chance to see what is in store for them. So, shops offer shopping gifts to customers every now and then.
